as the festival ends, the mists return. they swift swim across the beach, wreathing the coast with their strange hues. within the dense mist, something seems to call. to beckon. in particular, the top earners of each house, FERNANDO SILPH of the hyacinth huntails, kyle lopez of the canary clamperls, and LENORA GRIMALDI of the garnet gorebysses, sense the strangest connection. a psychic tether that whispers for them to come in.

entering the mist is an odd experience. their brief injury of entrance to the billowing fog is swiftly covered by more thick fog, causing the city of slateport to disappear behind them. upon walking forth, they realize they're at the immediate shoreline, water pulsing eerily against their feet.

there should be some way to solve the root of all problems given what they know, but even kyle knows that the megalopolans have already ran out of time even before they struck hoenn.

it seemed like kyle has everything figured out until a blade on his side brings a searing sensation.

for reasons unknown, DREAM MIST begins to sprawl from the open space the RELIC SONG seemingly cracks. spools of cotton candy shaped gas start to seep into existence until the crescendo of their song ends with a foreboding hiss. visible fractures give way until the INTERDREAM ZONE spills out in full.

it is the combination of the exposure to ULTRA SPACE and the disturbance of the INTERDREAM ZONE causes another WORMHOLE to appear. lights from the nearby megalopolis flicker and dim before darkness consumes everything.

various energies from its surroundings causes the COSMOEM to evolve just in time for KYUREM to step out of the mist, encasing every building near the vicinity with GLACIATE ICE.

megalopolans lose control over the SOLGALEO, and cornered with two other threats, ULTRA MEGALOPOLIS meets its end as it becomes the mistletoe in this unholy union of apocalyptic threats.

although normally hunted down by NECROZMA, kyle's SOLGALEO manages to stand a fighting chance with the aid of the third party in KYUREM and SILVALLY.

overpowered, it retreats back to the ULTRA WORMHOLE it came from. the gentle ringing of a SILVER BELL returns the normalcy to the city, but it doesn't undo the mental deterioration of the residents from the trauma from what they experienced.

the backrooms of the LILYCOVE MUSEUM prove to be untouched. traveling between planes might shift reality, but as far as kyle knows, he is on a copy of a timeline rather than an entirely different universe.

the LOG BOOK is found, and kyle finds the exact address he was looking for, and alongside it, certain dates that gives him an estimate of time he needs to prepare for his next move.

SOLGALEO proves to be a good enough bait for the KYUREM. having been used as a death pit for avatars and legendary pokemon, the creature of this wasteland has developed an appetite from such.

kyle's pokemon was more than enough, having both the energy of a legendary pokemon and of avatars after absorbing its trainer's.

it also was the best snack for NECROZMA for the abundance of light it exudes. shining its brightness on an otherwise dead world brings the creature of the dark into the universe.

despite sharing the same goal, greed overcomes both monsters. they both want it all, and ravenous hunger takes hold stronger with their meal in sight. a contest of strength invites the dark knight to another fight it has fought eons ago.

NECROZMA is weakened with the combined efforts of kyle's pokemon and KYUREM. the gamble of whether which event following the appearance of NECROZMA takes precedence doesn't pay off, as it is ultimately the SPATIAL REND that ends its visit.

with what little SACRED ASH kyle still has left, he summons ENTEI, SUICUNE and RAIKOU to end the job. KYUREM may have won its fight with the invader from ULTRA SPACE, but it still has contenders to face.

MIDNIGHT is when the day ends, as well as our story. you don't seem to care about it anyways, but by the end, you seem to be as reckless as others have in the present. somehow, that's more dull than playing it safe.

DUSK bridges the two. in under a year, you proved you can exacerbate the situation for better or worse. who knows how much more you can influence the past if we've given you more time in the future? calm and ferocious... it's a paradox on its own.
